Pulse Art + Technology Festival 2023 to Take Place on Jan 26th-28th
Telfair Museums’ PULSE Art + Technology Festival returns with an amazing exhibition at the Jepson Center, artist lectures and demonstrations, STEAM programs for students, a curator’s tour, a Friday night performance and a Free Family Day. The featured exhibition for PULSE includes interactive video and sound installations by the French artist duo Scenocosme (Grégory Lasserre and Anaïs met den Ancxt). An opening night reception and program January 26 at the Jepson Center will showcase a new large-scale projection by artist Will Penny, who will lecture, along with Scenocosme, who will join live from France. The opening night is free to museum members or with admission. A Free Friday Night will include temporary interactive art projects, video booth, art making and a new multimedia performance, Solstice in Cymatics, by Tybee Ballet Theater. A Free Family Day will feature art and tech demos from area creatives, and hands-on art activities for children and families. Friday night and Free Family Day events are free admission for local residents and student programs are free by registration. Investment is provided by the City of Savannah.
