InnovATL2023 is a yearly push to support innovation in Metro Atlanta and the southeast, consisting of multiple events designed to bring together disruptors and innovators from across industries to learn and grow. From September 26 through October 20, 2023, these events promise ripe opportunities for local entrepreneurs, creators, and innovators to hone their skills and build their networks. Girls Code Summer Camp Empowers the Next Generation of Female Coders

Last week, The Creative Coast and Girls Code Savannah teamed up to offer an aviation-themed summer camp designed to teach girls the basics of coding, free of charge. The camp took place at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus. From July 10th to 14th, 9 AM to 2 PM, 33 fifth to eighth grade girls gathered in a computer lab to learn about the basics of coding and the possibilities that tech-oriented careers can offer them in the future.
