Job Responsibilities

Under broad supervision, the system administrator will provide tier 2 level support for the end users which includes support for desktops, laptops, and printers.  Provide preventive maintenance of networking, software, and hardware components. Prioritizes, documents, and actively resolves end user support requests. Performs network administration duties for all networking, which may include but are not limited to, physical, virtual, and wireless networks, firewalls, security, access control systems, VoIP phone systems and camera systems.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND One year of related experience OR Associate’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Three years of related experience OR Five years of related experience OR One year of experience at the lower level Systems Administrator 1 (ITP040) or position equivalent.

Preferred qualifications- 10+ years’ experience with network, server, desktop, and printer support.
5+ years’ experience with VoIP phone systems, camera systems, and access control systems.
5+ years’ experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
4+ years’ experience with Cisco technologies.
Certifications preferred: MCSA/MCSE, CompTia, CCNA, and A+ certification.
