In partnership with Telfair Museums, Geekend will offer a free program of youth activities at the Jepson Center on Saturday, April 27. This will include workshops in coding, engineering and technology and an arcade of independent video games created by developers based in the Southeast. Admission to the arcade and workshops does not include admission to Jepson Center exhibits.
Interested in interactive design? Who isn’t?! For the second year, SCAD’s Department of Interactive Design and Game Development will offer a program of sessions at the SCAD Museum of Art on Saturday, April 27, which is open to Geekend attendees.
The convenient placement of these venues creates synergy among technology and the arts, and these partnerships demonstrate a commitment to innovation within Savannah’s community.
