(Statesboro, GA) – The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a Public
Service and Outreach unit of the University of Georgia, and Jerry McNair, CPA invite
entrepreneurs, small business owners, and business managers to attend a QuickBooks Online
for Beginners workshop on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Georgia Southern University’s
Armstrong Campus.

Developed specifically for beginners and prospective users, this course provides a practical,
hands-on approach to learning the features and the functions available to users by using case
studies in a computer lab environment. Participants will be able to access the QuickBooks
Online version to learn how to setup a new company file, create product and service items,
manage chart of accounts, add customer and vendor profiles, process daily transactions such as
invoicing, payments, and payroll, electronically download bank transactions and view reports.
