In February 2021, Tesla announced a $1.5 billion Bitcoin (BTC) purchase in a filing document with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Morgan Stanley just became the first big U.S. bank to offer its wealthy clients access to bitcoin funds.
So what is cryptocurrency? What gives it value? Why are people using it? Will I or my children be using it in the near future?
