COVID-19 Update
March 16, 2020:
Dear Creative Coast Members & Friends,
Despite there currently being no known cases in Chatham County, the Creative Coast Board & I have decided to take pre-emptive measures to help ensure the safety of our community and to “flatten the curve” of the COVID-19 virus.
Effective today, all of our educational events will be moving to virtual! AND we’re planning a special workshop on Thursday this week on “How To Work Remote” with TechSAV founder Kevin Lawver.
We encourage all members to work remote when possible. After personally social distancing for 3 days, I realize that gets old. So, we will allow current members to utilize the space at 2 E. Bryan Street, Suite 100A during normal business hours. We just ask that you be smart about it. There are Lysol wipes on the counter, soap and paper towels. Wipe down your desk when you leave, wipe the door knobs and keypad, and Social Distance (6 feet or more), if more than one person in the space. Note: Use of the facility is subject to change due to government or Board action. Please check our website for status updates (http://thecreativecoast.org/covid-19-update)
We also are going to try to reactivate our Slack Channel for those that want to chat! If you are not already on it, just email us! http://creativecoast.slack.com
We have already postponed She Hustles. The GRIT Conference is currently being planned for the fall.
Thank you for your support. Stay safe. Stay calm and take care of one another.
Jen, The Creative Coast Board, and Staff.
