BizPitch Savannah™ 2023 Applications Open!
Applications are now open for BizPitch Savannah™! This Shark Tank-style entrepreneurial competition offers eight local entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges including experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, and investors. Participants must deliver convincing pitches showcasing the strength of their idea and business plan, and three of the eight contestants will win a prize package valued at $10,000 to launch their new business.

Last week, The Creative Coast and Girls Code Savannah teamed up to offer an aviation-themed summer camp designed to teach girls the basics of coding, free of charge. The camp took place at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus. From July 10th to 14th, 9 AM to 2 PM, 33 fifth to eighth grade girls gathered in a computer lab to learn about the basics of coding and the possibilities that tech-oriented careers can offer them in the future.
