With clients like Japanese shipping giant MOL – the largest shipping line in the world – and German-based Halssen & Lyon – one of Europe’s leading importers and exporters of tea – no one’s ever going to guess that Elaine Longwater runs her design powerhouse from a two-story townhouse in downtown Savannah.
But she’s been cooking here for years… 23 and counting. She’s produced a full on, full service ad agency that offers some serious marketing, PR and advertising for heavy hitters across the globe.
“We’ve always had international clients,” she says.
They come from all over: Asia, Europe, the U.S. (California, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida).
And they’re all looking to Longwater for the same thing – to provoke, to intrigue, to bring intellect, ideas and edge to their presence. Translation: increase market shares in the corporate place.
“I live in Savannah because you can actually enjoy life. There’s no gridlock and we have the exquisite beauty of this area. There’s no place like it on earth.”
She takes the challenge, runs the race, and considers it her fortune to live where she wants to live and do what she wants to do.
