Savannah, GA- Bastille Metal Works, a premier designer of custom cast zinc and pewter countertops, range hoods and furnishings in North America, is partnering with Complex Universal Furniture Supply to broaden their business into a more expansive international market.
The first project is a decorative zinc bar for the 6th By Oriental Hotel, a trendy leisure and dining location. In Japan, zinc and pewter furnishings are very rare, so using metal in the design is an excellent choice to distinguish this new hospitality venue in the Tokyo hotspot.
Bastille was selected as a project collaborator because of their versatility, diverse selection of custom made designs and edge profiles, and innovative seamless slip-casting method used exclusively by the Bastille artisans.
By working with Complex Universal Furniture Supply, Bastille Metal Works will have the opportunity to design on up to 500 custom projects for Japanese hotels, restaurants, and boutiques. It's a great way to bring the traditional craftsmanship, personalization, and the clean aesthetic of our commodities to a new continent. The fusion of the cultures strives to produce a dynamic new variation of Bastille's handcrafted metal products.
