Tax Incentive Workshop for Energy Efficient Buildings
How do home and building owners and contractors take advantage of limited-time federal tax incentives? Attend this one day workshop that will explain the technologies and efficiency measures necessary to claim the energy efficiency tax incentives included in the 2005 Energy Policy Act. These tax incentives include:
- Up to $500 for residential retrofits
- $2000 per home for new residential construction
- Up to $1.80/sf for commercial buildings, and
- A 30% tax credit for the installation of solar energy systems
