About the Presentation:

The web is constantly changing - mutating from the app development framework of the moment to this week's social media sensation. How do you keep up and how do you get your business ready for what's here now and what comes next? In a whirlwind tour on the state of the web and web development today, we'll go over what you should be thinking about in your web presence and how to move forward in an ever-changing landscape. And, of course, we'll be there to answer your questions about what's happening in the web development world and where we see things heading.

About the Speaker:

Kevin Lawver has been a web developer for a long time. He spent 13 years at AOL building huge profitable web things, 4 years of that time in the W3C working on the versions of CSS and HTML that are just now starting to change how we build web apps. He's built web apps large, small and everywhere in between. Kevin loves the web and web development and will be there to answer your burning web development questions.

After moving to Savannah, Kevin has been working for Music Intelligence Solutions, as CTO and interim CEO. Today he is working for Rails Machine helping customers scale their apps.
