Our firm was founded in Savannah, Georgia in 1972 as C. J. Dulohery, Jr. P.E., a one person practice. In 1974, Mr. James E. Weeks, Jr., P.E. joined and the firm became Dulohery & Weeks, Consulting Engineers, Inc. Today, we are known as Dulohery Weeks. Our company is owned by professionals who are directly involved in all projects. Although considerably larger than the original practice, we remain a small business and continue to bring the level of commitment to each project only direct owner involvement can provide.

The professionals at our firm have extensive experience designing mechanical and electrical systems for a wide variety of projects in public and private sectors including a large portfolio of federal projects. Our engineers are registered Professional Engineers (PE) in the disciplines of mechanical, electrical and fire protection. A large percentage of our engineers are also LEED Accredited Professionals. In addition, various members of our staff are certified in plumbing design (CPD), communications distribution design (RCDD), and commissioning (CxA). Our staff is fluent in AutoCAD, Revit and Microstation. Our depth of experience and size allow us to provide considerable design manpower to swiftly and accurately complete projects. We also have multiple professionals involved in energy modeling and commissioning services.

Our focus on sustainability has enabled us to develop tools to make informed decisions regarding energy efficiency, water conservation, environmental quality, construction costs and life cycle costs. We are able to recommend flexible and economical designs without sacrificing quality, aesthetics or functionality.
